St. John Boat Charters & Rentals

Renting or chartering a boat on St. John can be a wonderful way to spend a day (or more) exploring beyond the popular tourist beaches. Boat rental options on St. John range from renting a dinghy or boat yourself for the day, to choosing to charter a boat with a Captain who knows all the nooks and crannies of the island (and surrounding islands). Boats are generally available on a half or full day basis, and range in price from approximately $200 - $1,000 depending on the boat, charter type and length of the rental.

One of the more popular options for those that choose to go with a chartered boat is to take a day trip to the British Virgin Islands where many will visit the former pirates haven of Jost Van Dyke - exploring the beatiful beaches or enjoying one of the two popular bars on the island.
